What we collect

Your email address, so you can sign in and be matched to a pledge. We use magic links, so we never store a password.

Which founders you back, at which tier, and when. Suggestions and votes you post, attributed to your account.

We do not receive your card details. Payment happens on the founder's own payment provider and we never see the card.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles for resale.

We never publish your name against a pledge — what you pay, to whom, and at which tier stays between you and the founder. Proposing an experiment is different: suggest one and your name is published with it and with whatever it produced, including a failure, because a result nobody can attribute proves nothing about anyone's judgement. If you do not want that, back a founder without writing an idea.

Founder metrics

Metrics shown on founder pages come from documents a founder sends us — an export or a screenshot from their own provider — which a person reviews and dates. Read-only connections to a founder's provider are not built, so no metric on this site is read automatically today. Founders control what is exposed and at what precision, subject to a listing minimum.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or its deletion, whenever you like. Deleting your account removes your identity from suggestions and votes; published scorecards remain, because the public record of an experiment is what the platform exists to keep. One limit we cannot fix: each scorecard has a share-card image carrying the name of whoever proposed it, and any site the link has been posted to has already fetched and cached that image. We can change what this site serves. We cannot reach a copy sitting in someone else's cache, and we would rather say so than imply a deletion is total.

Retention

Account and pledge records are kept while your account is open and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards.

If you are a founder listed here

These are the same four terms as the founder’s column of the agreement, repeated here because this is the page you would look at to find out what is held about you.

  • Read-only, and only what you connect: we cannot move money, change anything, or see who a customer is. No connection is built yet, so today the only thing we hold is what you send us — an export or a screenshot, read and dated by a person.
  • Only the band is published. The underlying figures are seen by one person here and are never shown, sold, or shared.
  • Disconnect at any time. Doing so delists you rather than exposing anything. There is nothing to disconnect yet: what we hold is whatever documents you have already sent.
  • If the pilot ends, what we hold is deleted within thirty days — the documents today, and the connection revoked as well once there is one.
